My name is Mr. Valdez and I am the creator and producer of tonight’s show. You could have been anywhere else tonight, but you chose to spend your evening here, with us. Thank you for that. That decision is not lost on us.

This show has been my baby since September of 2020. My mission with Stripped is to provide a space to showcase the very best in LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC talent that our community has to offer. We want to make sure that when you sit in these seats, that you see yourself reflected on the stage. We strive to be an authentically all-inclusive show with a focus on body positivity as well as accessibility. Thank you for showing your support to these communities simply by showing up tonight.

Frankie V. Grey

Colorado Springs, CO

Frankie V Grey is a legendary drag artist from Colorado Springs, CO. They have been credited as one of the first drag kings and the first to start the AFAB queen movement in Colorado Springs. They have performed across the state, winning multiple pageant titles such as Rocky Mountain Shining Star and Southern Colorado Entertainer of the year. Frankie is also 1/4 of the powerhouse dance troupe LV Dance that had their start at Club Q. They had a major health incident 4 years ago, but even re-learning how to walk didn’t keep Frankie away long. Over the last 18 years they have proven to be a force in drag, and always brings powerful performances! They’re the Comeback King of Colorado Springs!
